How To Maintain
Your Refinished Surface
When the job is complete, you will receive cleaning instructions that are attached to your invoice and warranty. The technician will review those instructions with you, and answer any questions that you may have.
Caulking
Caulk has to be applied to the area where the tub meets the tiled wall. This will ensure that water does not get under the coating causing it to fail.
The technician will show you where caulk should be applied.
We recommend using Phenoseal Caulk.

Cleaning
- Do not scrub clean your newly refinished for at least one week. Even though the coating is dry enough to use after 24 hrs, it is still curing(hardening) for a week after. A good rinsing after each shower or bath will keep soap from building up on the surface in the mean time.
- Clean the surface with a sponge or a cloth. Scouring pads can scratch the surface which could cause soap build-up.
- If soap build-up occurs, please call and we will instruct you on the removal process.
- Always use non-abrasive cleaners to clean any refinished surface. We recommend the use of any of these non abrasive cleaners: Lysol Tub & Tile Cleaner, Fantastic, Dow Bathroom Cleaner, Dow Scrubbing Bubbles, Tilex, Simple Green.
